25 crore workers connected on e-shram portal
In fact, in a tweet on Friday, Labor and Employment Minister Bhupendra Yadav informed that 25 crore unorganized workers have registered on the e-shram portal so far. He further wrote – The strong future of the country is hidden in the social security of crores of workers and workers of the country.

According to the information received from the e-shram portal, women have the highest claim among those who register on the portal. 52.77 percent women and 46.23 percent men have so far registered on the portal. At the same time, most people have registered themselves by going to the Common Service Center. Whereas, the number of self-registrants is less.

Any worker working in the unorganized sector can register on the e-shram portal. This includes street vendors, rickshaws, barbers, washermen, tailors, cobblers, people selling fruits, vegetables and milk.
