The National Center for Seismology has given this information. A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck 157 kilometers west-southwest of Manila, Philippines. Along with these two countries, there has been a strong earthquake inside the sea in Indonesia. At present, no tsunami warning has been issued. There is no news of any kind of damage so far.
The US Geological Survey said the 6.6-magnitude quake in Indonesia was centered about 169 kilometers west of Pariman, a town in West Sumatra province, at a depth of 16 kilometers. The Indonesian Meteorological and Geophysics Agency said the quake was felt in many parts of the province, but there was no danger of a tsunami. The earthquake was centered about 161 km southeast of South Nias. There is no news of any damage or casualties here too.
