According to PTI news, the Education Minister has announced that now it will not be necessary for students to appear in the board exams held twice a year. They can choose to appear for the board exam only once, although the exam will be conducted twice a year.
Decision taken to keep students stress free
On this occasion, while mentioning the suicides taking place in Kota, the Education Minister also said that these are our children and it is our responsibility to protect them. CABE will be revised
The Education Minister further said that the Central Advisory Board of Education will be restructured because its old version is not suitable according to today’s methods nor does it fit in today’s education system. He said that when steps are being taken with the new changes of NEP, there is a need to change CABE also.

The Education Minister said that guidelines will be issued for foreign universities to set up campuses in India and a notice in this regard will be issued soon. The work regarding this will be done in such a way that no doubt remains and all doubts can be cleared. Two IITs of India are already preparing to open campuses abroad.
