Lucknow-based ed-tech startup EduGorilla on Thursday announced the launch of test series for international driving licence examinations, marking its foray into international markets.

The test series caters to driving licence examinations of five countries, including India (Regional Transport Office). The other four countries are United Kingdom (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency), Australia (Driver Knowledge Test), the United States and Canada (Department of Motor Vehicles, National Council Licensure Examination).

The test series is available at a monthly subscription starting from $10 onwards on both EduGorilla portal as well as the app.

Founded in December 2016, EduGorilla aims to be the bridge between educationists and students and foster a healthy dialogue among all stakeholders of education.

Rohit Manglik, CEO, EduGorilla said: “The definition of Education today has broadened to beyond academics and implies holistic personality development. Besides adding a new dimension to EduGorilla’s offerings, this initiative reaffirms our commitment to strengthen vocational education and is in line with our vision to become a one-stop solution for all

Developed in-house, the test series comprises multiple choice questions encompassing both theory and practice examinations. The questions cover each topic and are a simulation to the actual examinations. The highlight of the test series is the complex driver manuals and syllabus channelized via a simple user interface. The test series also encapsulates the province-specific mock tests to cater to the varying driving laws within a country. There is also an option of reattempting the tests to improve on the weaker areas.

EduGorilla now plans to penetrate further into international markets within a span of three years, catering to international school and higher education examinations of European and Gulf countries.

EduGorilla had earlier launched bilingual apps which now cater to over 631 competitive examinations across various levels. The new entrants in the umbrella include school-level exams, NSDC tests, Psychometric tests, International English Proficiency tests, and PSU entrance and Research exams. Currently, EduGorilla provides more than 18,527 mock tests catering to over 2 crore users.
