government in the name of the father and the officials could not even find it. By the time the officials came to know about the forgery, the accused government had already lost about Rs 92.61 lakh. On the complaint of the Treasury Officer Rajveer Singh, the Civil Line Police Station has registered a case and started an investigation in the entire case.
Treasury Officer Rajveer Singh complained to the police that even after the death of retired employee AAC Bahra, his son Naresh Kumar forged the pension for eight years and took the pension. During this time, the accused twice presented his father’s fake living certificate in the treasury office and the bank.
After the death of retired employee AC Deaf on December 1, 2011, his pension should have stopped the next day, but his pension continued. The deceased employee’s son Naresh Kumar kept withdrawing the pension amount through ATM or sometimes through check or online shopping.
The pension of the deceased continued to be issued continuously till 30 September 2019. Meanwhile, even after the death of AC Deaf by the Central Bank of India, Faridabad, his surviving certificate was made available to the Central Bank of India at Model Town. During this period, the cashier of the bank also continued to issue funds through check, while the cashier should have got the signature.

Instead of sending the death certificate of AC deaf to the Treasury office, his living certificate was sent, due to which pension was not banned from there. The certificate was issued by Faridabad Treasury Officer SK Bansal (currently retired), on 17 April 2017 and 7 December 2018, by forging a fake surviving certificate of the deceased.
It is being told that the accused reached his father’s place in several offices and registered his presence and also forged signatures. At present, the Civil Line Police Station has registered a case and started investigation.
