Electricity Bill on Mobile: Big relief has been given to electricity consumers in Haryana. On behalf of Uttar Haryana Bijli Nigam, the bills of electricity consumers have now been linked with missed calls.
Every effort is being made by the Electricity Corporation to provide convenience to the consumers. Electricity bills are not being provided to district consumers in the district , they will now get electricity bill on their own mobile phone in a missed call.
The above facility has been started on behalf of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam . To take advantage of the scheme, the subscriber has to make a missed call from his registered mobile. After that, he will get a link through the message, by clicking on which the consumer can download and pay his electricity bill.
Please tell that the main problem of the consumers in the district is non-availability of electricity bills regularly. In such a situation, the consumers are not able to pay the electricity bill on time and they have to pay a fine.
To overcome this problem, the electricity corporation has issued toll free number 70870-19636 , on which consumers can get information related to their electricity bill by giving a missed call and pay electricity bill directly through online medium.
To avail the facility of missed call, the mobile number of the consumer should be linked with the electricity meter account. Apart from this, consumers can also update their mobile number and Aadhaar number.
Apart from this, before availing the subsidy given by the Electricity Corporation and the missed call alert facility, the electricity consumer will have to update the Aadhaar, only then the consumer will get the benefit of the subsidy given by the government. With this facility, consumers will no longer have to wait for meter reader for electricity bill and bill delivery.
