A video has been going viral on YouTube for a few days, in which it is being told that the government is bringing the electricity bill waiver scheme 2020 from 1 September. According to this viral video, everyone’s electricity bill in the entire country will be waived under the scheme from September. Let me tell you, do not get caught in this news and submit your electricity bill on time so that you do not have any problem. According to PIB’s Fact Check, this claim is fake. No such scheme has been announced by the Center or any state government.
