Elephants may be known as gentle giants, but several videos available on the internet prove that they can be quite aggressive. In a video featuring an elephant, which has been doing the rounds on the internet, it aptly shows the other side of elephants. Reshared on Twitter by IFS officer Susanta Nanda, the video will make your jaw drop.
Recorded at Narengi Millitary station in Guwahati, Assam, the video shows an elephant standing in front of a car. A few seconds into the clip, the jumbo starts pushing the car in a circle with its trunk. In the background, people can be heard banging plates and shouting to distract the elephant. In the end, the animal, however, brings the car back to the same place it started pushing it from.
Take a look:
The video is swiftly garnering views and reactions. While some pointed out how humans have encroached forests and left the wild animals homeless, others opined that the elephant simply thought that the car was a toy to play with.
