Ezetap, a leader in the field of digital payments, said that there has been a 220 percent increase in EMI transactions in July 2021 as compared to February 2020. There has been an increase of about 18 percent in the total transaction of EMI volume. Let us tell you that this increase has happened in the mobile and consumer durable segment, whereas before Corona, that is, in March 2020, this growth was 9 percent.

Which cities grew by how much?

The country’s capital Delhi is at the forefront of EMI transactions. An increase of about 258 percent has been seen here. After this, there was an increase in EMI transactions in Bangalore also during this period. There has been an increase of 206 percent as compared to February 2020. Apart from this, there has been an increase of 230 percent in Ahmedabad and 210 percent in Pune. According to Ezetap data, people have adopted EMI transactions during the pandemic.
