This will be implemented from July 2023, in such a situation the employees will also get arrears for two months of July and August. Due to this, there will be a jump of up to Rs 50,000 in the salary of the employees. There will also be a 25 percent increase in allowances. However, this has not been formally announced yet.

DA hike proposal will come soon in the cabinet

According to media reports, an important meeting of Modi Cabinet is to be held on September 27, in which the Expenditure Department of the Finance Department can propose DA increase. After getting approval from here, orders will be issued by the Finance Ministry. Central employees can get the benefit of 46% dearness allowance from October. Its benefit will be available to 47.58 lakh employees and about 69.76 lakh pensioners. Due to this, the salary of the employees will increase from Rs 27000 to Rs 70000. They will also get the benefit of the same allowances.

July’s AICPI index figures also released

The AICPI index for July 2023 released by the Labor Ministry has also been released, in which a big jump of 3.3 points has been recorded. The AICPI index for July released by the Labor Ministry has increased by 3.3 points to reach 139.7 points as compared to 136.4 points in June 2023.
