DA Hike Salary Update: The Central Government has given gifts to the employees and pensioners even before Diwali. The cabinet has increased dearness allowance by 4 percent to 46 percent. This was approved in the meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of PM Modi. Giving information about this, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that four important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting today. The increased DA amount will be given to the employees from July 1. In this way, three months arrears will be received along with the salary. DA amount will be increased in October salary. Calculation on basic salary of Rs 56,900
1.) Basic Pay – Rs 56,900
2.) New DA (46 percent) – Rs 26,174 per month
3.) Current DA (42 percent) – Rs 23,898 per month
4.) How much increase in DA – Rs 2276 per month
In this way, if we see, the salary of higher band employees will increase by Rs 2276 per month in the form of dearness allowance. This time, three months’ arrears and October’s DA money will be added to the salary. That means this time there will be Rs 2276*4=9,104 more than the monthly salary. Apart from this, employees will also get adhoc bonus.
Calculation on basic salary of Rs 18,000
1.) Basic salary – Rs 18,000
2.) New DA (46 percent) – Rs 8280 per month
3.) Present DA (42 percent) – Rs 7560 per month
4.) How much DA increased? – Rs 720 per month
The minimum basic salary of central employees is Rs 18000. Employees of this band will get Rs 720 more every month at the rate of 4 percent. According to this, three months arrears and DA for the month of October will be added to the salary. That means you will get Rs 720*4=2840 more than your monthly salary. Apart from this, bonus will be given separately. The minimum support price (MSP) of six Rabi crops has also been increased in the cabinet meeting. In the meeting, the price of oilseeds and mustard was increased by Rs 200 per quintal, lentil by Rs 425, wheat by Rs 150, gram by Rs 105, sunflower by Rs 150 and barley by Rs 115 per quintal.
