Employees DA Hike: Big relief has been given to the central employees by the Central Government. The rates of their dearness allowance have been revised. Orders have also been issued for this. Under the order issued, they will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance.
The rates of dearness allowance for employees of the Central Government and Central Health Bodies have been revised. For this, an office memorandum has been issued. The rate of dearness allowance of the employees of the Central Government and Central Health Bodies will be given through the pre-revised pay scale as per the Fifth Central Pay Commission. Their dearness allowance has been increased by 15%.
In such a situation, the current rate of basic pay of the employees of Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies has been increased from 412 percent to 427 percent. Has been implemented from July 1, 2023. The provisions contained in 3, 4 and 5 of the Ministry’s Office Memorandum dated 3 October 1997 will also be implemented while regularizing the dearness allowance under these orders.
Instructions have been given to bring the contents of the same office memorandum to the notice of the Ministry Department and all organizations under administrative control. In such a situation, the dearness allowance of the employees getting the fifth pay scale in the central autonomous bodies has been increased by 15%. Their dearness allowance has been increased from 412% to 427%.
Earlier, DA was increased at the rate of 4 percent for employees receiving 7th pay scale. His DA has increased from 42 to 46 percent. It has been implemented from July 1.
