With this, their dearness allowance has increased to 32%. The benefit of this hike to the employees will be implemented from 1 July 2022. At the same time, he has to be paid the arrears of 6 months.
DA increased at the rate of four percent
As a New Year gift, the Government of Meghalaya has increased the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief of family pension including its employee pensioners from 28% to 32%. There has been an increase of 4 percent for them. At present, the benefit of Dearness Allowance at the rate of 28% is being provided to all the employees of Meghalaya.

According to the official notification issued, this order will be applicable to employees holding posts in pay of respective categories of employees under regular establishment/services, besides bungalow peons and members of work charge/establishment and casual workers.
It has been said in the issued order that if the pensioner family pensioner is employed, re-employed under the state central government and is temporarily included in the state central government company, corporation undertaking or autonomous body, then their dearness allowance will remain suspended.
4% increase in DA of employees by Modi government-
Earlier on September 29, the dearness allowance of the employees was increased by 4 percent by the Modi government. The same inflation rate was increased to 38 percent. The same benefited 62 lakh pensioners including 50 lakh.
