Employees Holidays Update: Good news for these government employees, now they will get the benefit of so many holidays, these rules will remain, orders issued

Single male government servants who do not have any living children and whose child up to one year of age has been legally adopted as per the rules, will be given child adoption period of maximum 180 days at the time of adoption of the child. Government Employees 2023: There is good news for the government employees of Uttarakhand. The Pushkar Dhami government of the state has taken a big decision in the interest of the employees. Under this, now female and one male employees (unmarried, widower or divorced) will get the benefit of 180 days leave on adopting a child. Secretary (Finance) Dilip Jawalkar has issued an order in this regard.

These employees will get the benefit of leave

Under the order issued by the Finance Department, Child Adoption Leave will be available to female employees who have less than two living children and have adopted an infant up to the age of one year, but this leave will be available to single male employees who have no children. Do not have living children, who have legally adopted a child up to one year of age as per rules.

Apart from this, the benefit of leave will also be given to single male employees who adopted a child before this mandate was issued, but there will be some conditions. Under this, the benefit of leave will be available till the child is one year old. Along with this holiday, other types of holidays will also be valid. This will be accepted like maternity leave.
Single male employees will get the benefit of this facility only once during their entire service period. Uttarakhand government has issued an order to grant child adoption leave.

These rules will have to be followed

Female government servants who have less than two living children and have adopted a child up to the age of one year, are provided the facility of Child Adoption Leave for a maximum of 180 days at the time of adoption of the child. Will be provided.

Single male government servants who do not have any living children and whose child up to one year of age has been legally adopted as per the rules, will be given child adoption period of maximum 180 days at the time of adoption of the child. The facility of leave (Child Adoption Leave) will be provided.

Single male servant will include unmarried/widower/divorced man.

The benefit of child adoption leave will also be payable to those single male government servants. Those who have adopted a child of less than one year of age before the issue of this Government Order, but the said facility will be allowed for the period till the adopted child completes one year of age (subject to the maximum limit of 180 days). .

During the leave period, a female/single male government servant will be paid leave salary equivalent to the salary he was receiving immediately before proceeding on leave.
Along with child adoption leave, any other type of leave, which is permissible under the rules and for which application has been made as per procedure, can also be sanctioned, but the total duration of such leaves (including child adoption leave) shall not be more than one year. Will not exceed one year.

The said leave will be admissible only for children who are legally adopted under the Adoption Regulations, 2022 (as amended from time to time) and other related orders of the Government of India.
