With this the employees will get minimum 43677 and maximum 71030 salary. This will benefit 2.50 lakh employees.
Actually, about 2.50 lakh employees working in various mines of Coal India including South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) have got a big gift. The orders for the 11th wage settlement of the employees have finally been issued, in such a situation, the increased salary for the month of June will be paid in the first week of July. Along with this, the situation of confusion among the workers regarding the approval of DPE and other issues has ended. The arrears of the previous period will be provided separately to the workers.
Notification issued, payment orders in July
After getting approval from the Ministry of Coal, Coal India’s DP (P AND IR) Vinay Ranjan issued a notification on Thursday and issued implementation instructions regarding payment of salaries to CMDs of all subsidiary companies including BCCL, CCL. Under the notification, the new pay scale will be considered effective from 1 July 2021. On July 1, 2021, 2.3% House Rent Allowance, 11.25% Underground Allowance, 5% Special Allowance will be available and 1% electricity bill of Basic Pay will be deducted. Attendance Bonus will be 10% of Basic Pay every 3 months and 19% MGB of the pay as on 30 June 2021. There will be an increase of 3 percent per year in Basic Pay. Apart from this, Nursing Allowance will be effective from June 1, 2023.
