While work from home has become a new normal in the corporate domain it is here to stay long. Firms like Google and Facebook who were first to adopt this practice when the pandemic broke out are now extending it. Their employees would continue this mode of working till the end of 2020.

Though Facebook is planning to open most of its offices beginning July 6 it would extend ‘work from home’ for most of its employees. Facebook’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg would is expected to make an official announcement about this later in the day.
Along with Facebook tech giant Google has also taken the same route. As per reports from The Information CEO Sundar Pichai told the employees that all who are able to work remotely shall continue to do so till the end of 2020.
Recently the in India the Gurugarm administration said that work from home would continue till 31st July. Gurugram is an IT and business hub in the NCR region. India’s IT minister also said that this would become a norm in the post-corona world.
