Wipro Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Thierry Delaporte gave this information in a press conference after releasing the June quarter financial results. He said that now every employee in Wipro will get promotion on quarterly basis and it will start from July i.e. this month. Similarly, Wipro is also going to increase the salary of employees every three months (Quarterly Salary Hike). Its benefits will be available to the employees from the next quarter i.e. September.

Delaporte said, ‘The investment we have made in talent, I think, is starting to pay off. Remind you that we have announced the policy of giving promotion on quarterly basis, which is quite new. Earlier, we were also working on the basis of annual cycle. Promotion on quarterly cycle basis will be effective from this month, while the salary hike for eligible employees will be applicable from September.

Wipro ahead of TCS, HCL Tech in hiring

Let us tell you that during the April-June quarter, Wipro did more hiring than companies like TCS and HCL Tech. Profit decreased, but revenue increased

Wipro on Wednesday released the June quarter results. The company made a profit of Rs 2,563.6 crore after filing tax in the June quarter, which is 20.93 per cent less than the year-ago period of Rs 3,242.6 crore in the June 2021 quarter. Profit also declined by 16.96 per cent as compared to the March quarter. The company’s revenue grew 15.51 per cent year-on-year to Rs 22,001 crore in the June quarter. It gained 2.98 per cent on a quarterly basis.
