The strike will continue
The United Forum says that we know that the state government will issue a notification threatening to stop the service to thwart our strike. We have sent an advance letter to the state government that we will not back down from our strike call until our demand for DA arrears is met. The state government employees will continue their protest on the streets of Kolkata, which has already completed 26 days, of which 12 were intermittent fasting.
Supreme Court hearing on March 15
Here, the hearing on DA dues is to be held in the Supreme Court on March 15, but before that the employees have announced the agitation. The same state government has announced an additional three percent DA for the employees.
