In this, the DA of employees with basic salary of Rs 18,000 will be Rs 6,480 annually and Rs 20,484 for those with 56000 salary.
7th Pay Commission: There is going to be a bumper jump in the salary of Central Employees DA Fitment Factor. Central employees are going to get many gifts on Holi. According to media reports, the Modi government can give 3 big gifts to the employees on the occasion of Holi. First- the dearness allowance of the employees can be increased once again by 3%.
Second- the fitment factor can be increased to 3.68. The third-house rent allowance can also be increased. If this happens, then according to different levels, there will be an increase in the salary of employees from 1.50 lakh to 2.32 lakh.
According to media reports, after the release of the AICPI-IW data, the Modi government may increase the dearness allowance by 3% in March, after which the total DA will increase from 31% to 34%. The same January-February arrears can also be given, which will benefit 48 lakh employees and 68 lakh pensioners. If the DA is 34%, then employees with basic salary of Rs 18,000 will get Rs 6,480 annually and those with salary 56000 will get Rs 20,484 annually.
In this, DA of employees with basic salary of Rs 18,000 will be Rs 6,480 per year and Rs 20,484 for those with 56000 salary. An employee with a basic salary of Rs 56,900 will get an increase of Rs 232,152 in the salary according to the allowance of Rs 19346 per month.
According to media reports, apart from this, the fitment factor can also be increased along with DA of central employees. At present, the fitment factor of central employees is 2.57 per cent, which can be increased to 3.68 times, thereby increasing the minimum wage from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000. If the basic salary of a central employee is Rs 18,000, then his salary excluding allowances would be 18,000 X 2.57 = Rs 46,260.
Assuming 2.57 as 3, the salary would be 21,000 X 3 = Rs 63,000. Fitment factor 3.68 hike is increased from 2.57 to 3.68, then the same salary will be Rs 95,680 (26000X3.68 = 95,680). This would mean an increase of Rs 49,420 in the overall salary of the employees. Earlier in 2016, the fitment factor was increased, in which the minimum basic salary was increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 18,000.
House rent allowance may increase by 3%
Apart from this, central employees can also get the gift of HRA House Rent Allowance. It is expected that 3% HRA of 11.56 employees can be increased. If the HRA is increased from 27 percent to 30 percent, then the salary benefit will be up to Rs.8100. As per the DoPT agreement, as soon as DA crosses 50 per cent, HRA will become 30, 20 and 10 per cent.
At present, central employees get HRA at the rate of 9 percent, 18 percent and 27 percent according to their categories. Under this, the employees will get a minimum benefit of Rs 5400 and maximum Rs 8100 per month. For example, if someone’s basic salary is 30,000 Rs., then he will get the benefit of HRA of about Rs. 5400 to Rs.
