Change EPF Nominee Online: There is important news for the members of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). If an EPFO member wishes, he can change the existing nominee and make a new nominee. For more information, EPFO members can login to the official website epfindia.gov.in.
Recently, EPFO has tweeted about changing the nominee from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said that “#EPF members can file a new nomination to replace the existing EPF / #EPS nomination.”

These are the advantages of filing e-nomination:
1) Helps to get Provident Fund (PF), Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) and Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) easily in case of death of the member.
2) It also allows the nominee to file claims online.
Documents required for e-nomination:
For members
1) Activated and Aadhaar linked UAN
2) Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
3) Updated profile of the member with photo and address
For Nominee
1) Scanned photograph (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm in JPG format)
2) Aadhar, Bank Account Number, IFSC Code and Address
In order to file e-nomination for EPF or EPS, the members need to follow some simple steps:
Step 1: First of all, go to the official website of EPFO, epfindia.gov.in. Here ‘Service Option’ has to be selected. Again the option ‘For Employees’ has to be selected. Now click on ‘Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTP)’.
Step 2: Then login with UAN and password.
Step 3: Now under the ‘Manage tab’, select ‘e-Nomination’.
Step 4: After that ‘Provide details’ tab will appear on the screen then click on ‘Save’.
Step 5: Click on ‘Yes’ to update the family declaration.
Step 6: After this, click on ‘Add Family Details’. Keep in mind that more than one nominee can be added.
Step 7: Now click on ‘Nomination Details’ to declare the total amount of shares. After this, click on ‘Save EPF Nomination’.
Step 8: Finally, to generate the OTP, click on ‘e-Sign’ and enter the OTP on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
EPFO members can login to the official website of EPFO at epfindia.gov.in in case of any query or dilemma.
