Tweeting from the official Twitter handle of EPFO, it has been told that the organization never asks for necessary information like Aadhar card, PAN card, Universal account number, bank account, OTP on WhatsApp or other social media account. In such a situation, if someone asks for such information, then never share this information with him.

EPFO never asks its subscriber for any kind of money deposit through WhatsApp or other social media apps. Also, the subscriber should not answer such calls or messages. EPFO has added 14.65 lakh subscribers in July 2021.
