New Delhi. The last date for linking Universal Account Number (UAN) with Aadhaar number is till 30 November 2021. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has also appointed an officer to save people from the hassles of linking UAN with Aadhaar number. EPFO has said that it has appointed Deputy Director Harsh Kaushik to help in linking UAN with Aadhaar.
According to PF Commissioner Sanat Kumar, assistance can be taken by contacting Deputy Director Harsh Kaushik at ecr.help@epfindia.gov.in. He will help in resolving the complaints related to linking. If any employee has any technical problem, then he should contact this address immediately. Let us tell you that if this work is not done by the night of 30 November 2021, then there will be a big loss to the EPFO subscribers. Salaried employees will neither be able to deposit PF money nor will they be able to withdraw money from PF account.
Will not get insurance cover of Rs 7 lakh
EPFO subscribers must link Aadhaar with their PF account to keep them active. Aadhar-UAN linking is necessary for the insurance cover available on the PF account. If your account is not linked with Aadhaar, the amount for life insurance of Rs 7 lakh of the employee under Employee Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) will not be able to be deposited. This will leave the employee out of the insurance cover.
