EPFO update: It is necessary for all EPFO holders to file e-nomination. However, e-nomination will not be possible if your online EPFO member ID does not have a profile picture. If you login to UAN account for filing e-nomination. Whereas your EPFO member ID does not have a profile photo, then you will get the message “unable to proceed”. Hence it is advised that you first upload your profile picture in your UAN member portal. After this complete the EPFO e-nomination.
How to upload photo in e-nomination
– Login to the official portal of EPFO with your UAN member ID
– Drop down to the menu section and click on View
– Now choose profile
– After this on the left side you will see details about your profile and profile photo change option
– Select the photo in the format prescribed by EPFO
– Upload your photo and select OK
Keep these things in mind
Before uploading your profile photo, get information about its size, format and other details. According to EPFO, these things are necessary for your profile photo.
– Photograph should be taken with digital camera.
– The photograph should be limited to the size of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm before uploading.
– The face should be prominently visible in the photo (80% of the image) and both the ears should be visible.
– Image should be in JPEG or JPG or PNG format.
