EPFO, which provides pension facility to salaried employees, also allows its subscribers to make nominees online. Recently, EPFO has shared the information related to e-nomination through its tweet on the official Twitter handle and explained its complete process step-by-step.
EPFO has written in a tweet that follow these easy steps and you too file EPF / EPS nomination digitally.
- For this, first of all go to the official website of EPFO www.epfindia.gov.in. On this website you will get the option of Services. Click on it and go to the option of For Employee.
- After this you have to click on Member UAN / Online Services. After that login with UAN number and password.
- After logging in, go to the Manage tab and click on e-Nomination. Now the option of Provide details will appear on your screen. Now fill all the details and click on save option.
- In the next step, update the family declaration by clicking Yes and fill in the details of your nominee. To create more than one nominee, click on the option of Add and fill the details of the nominee.
- After this, click on Nomination Details and decide who has to pay the amount and click on Save EPF Nomination.
- Then click on e-sign to generate OTP. This will generate an OTP on the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar. Submit it. With this process, your e-nomination will be filed sitting at home.
