EPFO E-Nomination Update: Giving a big relief to the account holders, EPFO has extended the last date for adding nominees through e-nomination.

Actually, the Employee Provident Fund Organization or EPFO has announced a big relief to its account holders. EPFO has extended the last date for adding nominees through e-nomination. Now PF account holders will be able to do e-nomination even after December 31, 2021.
The EPFO did not say when its deadline would end. However, EPFO has suggested account holders to do e-nomination.
This exercise of EPFO is to provide security to the dependents of PF account holders. If something untoward happens to the PF account holders, then the nominee gets benefits like insurance and pension.

PF account holders can also do the work of adding a nominee online. EPFO provides this facility that PF account holders can add the name of more than one nominee. Apart from this, the account holders can also decide the stake to be received by the nominee.
Process of e-nomination
>> First of all open the official website of EPFO.
>> Now you have to log in through UAN and Password.
>> Go to manage section and click on link e-nomination.
>> Now fill the name of the nominee and other details.
>> To add more than one nominee, click on Add New Button.
>> After this the process is completed as soon as you click on Save Family Details.
