EPFO Balance check: EPFO has informed by tweeting that for the financial year 2020-21, 22.55 crore accounts have been deposited with 8.50% interest.
EPFO Interest rates latest updates: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has transferred the interest amount to the accounts of its subscribers. According to the information given by the EPFO, 8.50 percent interest is being deposited in the PF account for the financial year 2020-21. So far, interest has been deposited in 22.5 crore accounts. EPFO has informed by tweeting that for the financial year 2020-21, 22.55 crore accounts have been deposited with 8.50% interest.

If you are also a subscriber of EPFO, then you can check your PF account balance sitting at home in four ways through SMS, online, missed call and UMANG app.
Check PF Balance Online
You can also check the balance of your PF account by logging on to the EPFO portal i.e. epfindia.gov.in. For this, first open the official website of EPFO. Go to ‘Our Services’ and click on the option for Employees. Go to Member Passbook under Services. Here you will be redirected to a new web page. From here you can check your balance.
Check balance with UMANG app
If you are a member of EPFO then you can check your PF balance through UMANG app. UMANG App is an app of the Government of India and through this app many schemes can be availed. Firstly, open the Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance, (Umang app) app. Now click on EPFO. Then click on ’employee-centric services’. Then click on ‘view passbook’ and enter UAN and One-time Password (OTP). After this the members will be able to check EPF balance.
Balance check via SMS
If you want to check balance through SMS, then send it by writing EPFOHO UAN LAN to 7738299899. Here instead of UAN, you have to write your 12 digit UAN number. Language code will have to be written instead of LAN. If you want information in Hindi language, type HIN instead of LAN. For English, SMS EPFOHO UAN ENG. Apart from Hindi, English, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bangla, Kannada, you can get information about EPFO balance.
Check PF balance through missed call
Apart from this, you can also check PF balance through missed call. EPFO subscribers need to give a missed call on 011-22901406 number from their UAN registered mobile number. After this your PF balance will come on your mobile number immediately.
