The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) issues a 12 digit Universal Account Number (UAN) for its members. This number remains for the life of the EPFO member. When the employee changes the job, he is given a new member ID under the EPF and the UAN remains the same. Once your mobile number is registered with your UAN, you get all the information sent by EPFO via SMS on your mobile.
It is necessary for a new member to register his mobile number for the first time while signing up on the EPFO portal. You can also change the mobile number registered with UAN if needed. It is quite easy. Members can do this by visiting the UAN member portal. Let us know the step by step process of changing your mobile number online through EPF UAN.
