EPFO: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has revised the standard operating procedure through joint declaration for rectifying mistakes in the Universal Account Number (UAN) profiles of employers and members.
EPFO: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has revised the standard operating procedure through joint declaration for rectifying mistakes in the Universal Account Number (UAN) profiles of employers and members. EPFO has also involved field officers regarding the process when adjustments will be made. You can update the information given in your EPFO. You can provide these documents to update your UAN profile. According to EPFO’s SOP revised notification dated March 11, 2024, the applicant can now submit Aadhaar card in the name of the member’s father/mother, PAN card, 10th or 12th marksheet in the name of the father/mother and driving license while applying. During his job the employee can revise 11 details. Here we are telling you how many times you can revise which information.

A member can request changes in the above 11 parameters up to five times during regular business hours.
You can correct UAN profile through these documents
- Name of member
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Father/Mother’s Name
- Marital status
- Aadhaar number
These documents will have to be given to improve the n ame of father and mother and relationship
1. Father/Mother’s passport
2. Ration Card/PDS Card
3. CGHS/ECHS/Medi-Claim Card/PSU Card with photograph issued by Central/State Government
4. Pension Card
5. Birth certificate, issued by Municipal Corporation and other notified local government bodies like Taluk, Tehsil etc.
6. Government issued marriage certificate
7. Photo identity card issued by Central/State Government. State Government like Bhamashah, Jan Aadhaar, MNREGA, Army Canteen Card etc.
This document will be required to correct the date of birth
- Birth certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths.
- Marksheet issued by a recognized government board or university. School Leaving Certificate (SLC)/School Transfer Certificate (TC)/SSC
- Certificate showing name and date of birth
- Certificate based on service record of Central/State Government
- Medical certificate in the absence of proof of date of birth
- Base
- Passport
- PAN of IT Department
- Central/State Pension Payment Order
- CGHS/ECHS/Medi-claim card issued by Central/State/UT Government.
- Residence certificate issued by the government
