Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has deposited interest at the rate of 8.50 percent in the accounts of more than 24.07 crore subscribers for the financial year 2020-21. EPFO has tweeted this information on its Twitter handle. EPFO said in its tweet that, ‘So far in the financial year 2020-21, money has been transferred to the accounts of 24.07 crore people at the rate of 8.50 percent. Check balance through SMS like this
If your UAN number is registered with EPFO then you can get your PF balance details through message. For this, you have to type EPFOHO and send it to 7738299899. After this, you will receive the PF details through the message.
Check PF Balance like this through Missed Call
To check your balance through Missed Call, you have to give a missed call from your registered mobile number to this number 011-22901406. After this you will get PF Detail through EPFO’s message. Here also it is necessary to have your UAN, PAN and Aadhaar linked.
Check PF Balance from EPFO website
- To check balance online, you have to log on to the EPFO website, click on e-passbook at epfindia.gov.in.
- Now on clicking on your e-passbook, a new page will come to passbook.epfindia.gov.in.
- Now here you fill your username (UAN number), password and captcha
- After filling all the details, you will come to a new page and here you will have to select the member ID.
- Here you will get your EPF balance on e-passbook.
Check balance like this through UMANG App
- For this, open your UMANG App (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) and click on EPFO.
- Now on the other page, click on Employee-centric services.
- Here you click on ‘View passbook’. With this, you fill your UAN number and Password (OTP) number.
- OTP will come on your registered mobile number. After this you can check your PF Balance.
