It is being speculated that the government is going to give gifts to the PF employees soon, which will benefit about 6 crore people.
EPFO is soon considering to transfer the interest amount for the financial year 2021-22 to the account of the employees soon. Earlier, 8.5% interest money has been transferred in the account of PF employees. According to the information, now this amount can be increased. There is going to be a big meeting regarding this soon.
This has not been officially said yet, but it is being claimed in some media reports. Therefore, all the employees should check the balance in their account without delay.
The retirement fund body said in a tweet that, for the financial year 2020-21, 8.50 percent interest has been deposited in 22.55 crore accounts.

- To check balance through SMS, send EPFOHO UAN LAN to 7738299899.
- Here instead of UAN, you have to write your 12 digit UAN number. Whereas instead of LAN, the code of the language will have to be written.
- If you need information in Hindi language, type HIN instead of LAN.
- You can also check PF balance by making a missed call on the toll-free number. Give a missed call on 011-22901406.
- After the call, you will get an SMS containing all your PF account details.
Now click on EPFO
- Click on ’employee-centric services’.
- Then click on ‘view passbook’ and enter UAN and One-time Password (OTP).
- After this the members will be able to check EPF balance.
