EPFO is also motivating its members to fulfill it by telling its members the benefits of e-nomination under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign. The purpose of EPFO behind e-nomination is to provide social security to the family of its members. EPFO has also made a tweet for its members to tell about the benefits of e-nomination.

EPFO, through its recent tweet, has informed the members about the benefits of e-nomination. If you have not nominated anyone in your EPF account, then you will also have to face problems. If the nominee is not added, there is a problem in withdrawing money from the PF account.
Benefits of e-nomination
On making e-nomination, the EPF member gets three big benefits. Firstly, if the account holder dies due to any unforeseen circumstances, the claim can be settled online.
Second, the pension and insurance (up to Rs 7 lakh) along with PF are paid online to the created nominee. EPFO gives some social security benefits to its members and their families. In this, under the Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI), the nominee gets a sum insured of up to Rs 7 lakh in the accidental death of the account holder. If you have not done e-nomination then your family will not get the benefit.
The third big advantage is that all types of claims will be settled immediately and paperless.

- Then login by entering your UAN and Password
- Go to the manage section and click on the link e-nomination
- Submit the name of the nominee, photo and other details
