EPFO employees are going to get pension amount like salary before the end of January. Employees should check their bank account before January 31, 2022, the amount of pension will be transferred by the banks soon.
There is relief news for lakhs of EPFO employees of the country. To get the pension (EPFO Pension), now you will not have to wait for the 1st to 5th of every month, before the end of the month, the amount of pension is going to be received like salary. This facility has been implemented from January 1, 2022. For this, the EPFO has given instructions to the banks, employees should check their bank accounts before 31 January 2022 (31 January 2022), the pension amount will be transferred to the accounts by the banks soon.
Actually, EPFO gave a big gift to the pensioners in the first month of the year 2022 in January. Under this, now on the last date of every month, on the lines of the corporate sector, the amount of pension (EPFO Employees Pension) will be transferred to the account. This system has been implemented from January 1, 2022, whose benefit will be available to lakhs of pensioners from this month. However, pensioners will get pension on or before the last working day in all other months except March. In the case of the month of March, pension can be credited on or after 1st April.
For this, money will be made available in the pensioners’ bank along with the list of pensioners 2 days in advance at the end of the month. Banks have been instructed to make arrangements to send the reconciliation statement to the banks two days before the last of every month, so that the amount of pension item reaches the banks and the pension amount reaches the pensioner’s account in 30 or 31.
Life certificate submission limit increased
With this, pensioners can now submit life certificate (Jeevan Pramaan Patra or life certificate) till 28 February 2022. Normally the last date for submission of this certificate is November 30, but this date was earlier extended from November 30 to December 31, 2021. Now it has been extended till 28 February 2022. Submission of this life certificate will show whether the pensioner is alive or not. You can submit both online and offline. If there is a delay in the submission of this certificate, then the pension of February-March may get stuck.
