Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), the institution managing provident fund, has settled PF Claim very fast during coronavirus mahamari. Under the advance facility in Covid 19, EPFO members can withdraw 3 months basic pay and dearness allowance from their Employees Provident Fund (EPF) account or less than half of the total fund.
You’ll need to scan and submit documents related to the reasons for withdrawing money. To withdraw money from an EPF account, you can use your employer/employer to withdraw money from your account. Approval is also required from the company. Only then will the money be credited to your bank account. However it is not needed at this time.
According to Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Uttam Prakash, EPFO’s Delhi West office settled all claims relating to Covid-19 within 24 hours for 100 consecutive days.
Around 91,000 claims were processed, including Rs 140 crore. The Delhi West Office has settled 1.75 lakh claims in the current business year so far and distributed an amount of about Rs 570 crore.
With the government relaxing, EPFO is no longer asking you for the reason for withdrawing money and documents related to it. However, why should money be paid in normal days and also to make papers with it and the money comes in 3 weeks.
To withdraw money from pf account, login has to be done on EPFO’s website. It requires UAN, as well as an account linked to Aadhaar.
Log in to the UAN member portal with UAN and passwords. Then click Online Service and select Claim Form. SMS will arrive at your mobile number registered with EPFO. When the application is completed, the money will come to the bank account. Usually, the money goes into the bank account in 15 to 20 days, however, the amount is currently coming into account in 72 hours.
Enter a bank account and click Verify. Then click Yes. Now go to the Proceed For Online Claim option. Select PF Advance (Form 31) to withdraw funds online. Here’s why you’re withdrawing money. Then proceed. Also fill in the employee’s address. Then apply.
