EPFO Update: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently made a big announcement. EPFO has said that its members can link UAN (Universal Account Number) and Aadhaar on the UMANG app. Many government services are available at one place on UMANG or Unified Mobile Application.
Here you can link PF account with Aadhar card in three ways.
Step 1: Download UMANG App from Google Play Store or Apple iOS.
Step 2: Click on EPFO link.
Step 3: Now go to ‘eKYC Services’.
Step 4: Now select the ‘Aadhaar seeding’ option and keep your UAN number ready.
Step 5: Enter the UAN number. After this OTP will come on your registered number.
Step 6: After entering all the details, your Aadhaar will be linked with your UAN number.
You can also link Aadhar and PF account from EPFO website.
Step 1: First of all go to EPFO website www.epfindia.gov.in.
Step 2: Now go to the online service section.
Step 3: Now go to the eKYC portal link.
Step 4: Then click on ‘Link UAN Aadhaar’. OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 5: After OTP verification, enter your Aadhaar number.
Step 6: After this another OTP will come. After its verification, that is, if your UAN details match with Aadhaar, then the process of UAN-Aadhaar linking will be completed.
Link Aadhaar to UAN
You can also link EPFO account with Aadhaar offline.
Step 1: Go to the office and fill the ‘Aadhaar Seeding Application’.
Step 2: Enter UAN, Aadhaar-related details along with other details in the form.
Step 3: Attach self-attested copies of PAN, Aadhaar and UAN.
Step 4: Submit the filled form at any field office of EPFO or Common Service Center (CSC).
Step 5: On completion of verification, Aadhaar will be linked with PF account.
Step 6: With the linking of Aadhaar and UAN, a confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number.
