EPFO has asked all companies to provide 100% e-nomination facility for their women employees, so that they can be recognized and rewarded on Women’s Day. Let us tell you that today is International Women’s Day.

According to the EPFO, companies who have not been able to do e-nomination for December 2021 and January 2022 are eligible for this declaration. EPFO has tweeted and said that on International Women’s Day, we appeal to file e-nomination, empower their families and assure social security.

EPFO celebrating the elixir of freedom
Actually, EPFO had extended the deadline of December 31 given to its members to complete the e-nomination. That is, after December 31, the facility of e-nomination can be availed. EPFO is celebrating Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. The organization has appealed to the women members to file e-nomination today to empower their families and ensure their social security.

Life cover up to Rs 7 lakh
Life cover of up to Rs 7 lakh is given to PF account holders by EPFO. Actually, all the subscribers (members) of EPFO ​​are covered under the Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) 1976. Under which EPFO ​​holders get insurance cover up to Rs 7 lakh.

Know how to do online e-nomination

  • First of all log on to the official website of EPFO, epfindia.gov.in.
  • Go to the EPFO ​​website and click on ‘For Employees’ in the ‘Services’ section.
  • Now click on ‘Member UAN / Online Service’.
  • After that login by entering UAN and password.
  • Then select ‘e-Nomination’ in the ‘Manage’ tab.
  • The ‘Provide Details’ tab will appear on the screen, click on ‘Save’.
  • Click on ‘Yes’ to update the family declaration.
  • Click on ‘Add Family Details’. More than one nominee can also be added.
  • Click on ‘Nomination Details’ to announce the amount of which nominee’s share will come.
  • After entering the details, click on ‘Save EPF Nomination’.
  • Click on ‘e-Sign’ to generate OTP.
  • OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
  • Submit the OTP by entering it in the specified space. After this the e-nomination will be registered with EPFO.
