Brussels, Agency. The chief diplomat of the European Union has called for talks between Europe and the US amid the Indo-China border dispute in eastern Ladakh. Its purpose is to form a vote between the two sides against China’s communist regime. According to the Bangkok post, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borel stated that there is a need to come to a platform to defend the shared values and common interests of the two sides. The special thing is that the European Union has called for talks with the US at a time when China is making a bloody struggle with India in eastern Ladakh.
China needs more strong strategy
Talking to reporters, Borel said that we have suggested specific bilateral talks with the US to start on China. He said that a joint dialogue is necessary to meet the challenges arising from the actions and ambitions of the European Union and the United States. Burrell made the remarks on Monday during video talks with 27 EU foreign ministers and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. He stressed that we need a more robust strategy for China, which also requires better relations with the rest of democratic Asia.
Emphasis on building a common ground on both sides
They emphasized common concerns, values, shared interests and a common ground on both sides for defense. Burrell said the time had come to explore these common grounds. He said that it is necessary for the European Union to remain with the US. However, the US has not commented sharply on Borel’s statement. Speaking at the same conference, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas justified the call of Burrell. He said that the corona virus originated in China. Due to lack of transparency in China, it has spread to the world.
