In the city of Haldwani, where the sale of masks was limited to hospitals last year. Suddenly, mask sales began in March due to a corona infection. As soon as it became mandatory to wear a mask. Black marketing started in medical stores. The administration also raided and took action against many shop operators, but gradually the supply increased, but the price became many times more expensive. Sandeep Joshi, secretary of the chemist association, says masks are not made in the district, but are coming from other districts and states, but the rates have not come down.



Masks are being sold at this price in the market

In the year 2019, the price of N-95 mask was 20 to 25 rupees. While this mask used to come from other countries including China, but at this time many domestic companies have also started making it, but its prices have gone from 120 to 130. At the same time, the price of threeply mask was one or two rupees last year. In the early stages of the spread of corona virus infection, this mask started selling for more than Rs 15, but at this time it was priced at Rs 5-6. Even then, the price is selling twice as much as last year. No one has control over it.

Increased trend of homemade masks

After the use of masks became mandatory for going to public places, people started using masks made in homes. A large number of people have started making and distributing masks. Dr. Neelambar Bhatt, senior physician, says that wearing a mask is mandatory, but it should not be worn everywhere. Wear masks only in public places. The mask should be washed and its quality should be correct. It is not necessary to wear masks indoors. Dr. Gaurav Singhal, senior chest and respiratory specialist said that apart from the doctor, other people can wear a three-mask. There is no need to wear masks indoors, indoors or in secluded places. Masks should be worn as per rules in public places. Only then rescue is possible.
