What viral: It is being claimed that PM Modi has made a factual mistake by linking the name of Rewa city to Narmada river. And Rewa’s misidentification is revealed to the country.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ultra Mega Solar Power Plant in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh with video conferencing on 10 July.

• During the inauguration he said – Today Rewa has really created history. Rewa has been identified as mother Narmada and a white tiger. Now the name of Asia’s largest solar power project has also been added. 

• This part of Modi’s speech was also tweeted from his Twitter handle.

The same statement was tweeted in Hindi from the Twitter handle of the Prime Minister’s Office. In response to which Rahul Gandhi wrote – Disobedient. 

• After Rahul Gandhi’s tweet, there was a flood of reactions in which PM Modi’s ‘Rewa’s identity from Narmada’ was described as factually incorrect.
