Faridabad-Gurugram Metro News Update During the inspection, while looking at the proposed metro route from Bata metro station to Pali Chowk, it was again closely monitored to see if there is any obstacle in the way.
Efforts have intensified to complete the proposed metro from industrial city to cyber city Gurugram. On Wednesday, MLA Seema Trikha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) Sudhir Rajpal and Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) Dr. Garima Mittal inspected the proposed route. The MLA and officials inspected from Bata to Hardware Chowk, Pyali Chowk, Anaj Mandi Road, Masjid, Jamai Colony, Gurugram Road and then to Pali.
While looking at the proposed metro route from Bata Metro Station to Pali Chowk, it was again closely monitored to see if there is any obstacle in the way. With the finalization of the route of this project, work will start on connecting the industrial city to the cyber city through metro. Let us tell you that Chief Minister Manohar Lal had announced to run Metro between Gurugram and Faridabad on the request of MLA Seema Trikha in the year 2016 at the Badkhal rally. After this, its DPR was prepared from DMRC.
There will be a 32.14 km long route between Faridabad and Gurugram. A total of 11 stations have been proposed on this. Of these, five will be in Faridabad and six in Gurugram. This route will be connected to Bata metro station in Faridabad. After this, stations will be built at Pyali Chowk and then at Masjid Chowk. Metro station is proposed to be built at Pali and then at Mangar Chowk. Further, six metro stations will be built in Gurugram. 9 metro stations will be elevated and two underground. The total cost of this project is estimated to be Rs 5900.
