Central government has launched many schemes (yojana) for the welfare of Indian farmers and one of them is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana popularly known as PM-Kisan. Under this scheme, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually. This installment is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs 2000.
In early August, the government released the sixth installment of PM-Kisan yojana. Now the Modi government is preparing to release the next or seventh installment. Hence before government releases the installment, farmers need to pay attention to a few things. If they ignore these things then their installment may get stuck. In fact, there are many farmers whose names are in the beneficiary list, but the sixth installment has not been released to them. This is because there were some mistakes in their application or documents.
For example, if someone has mentioned the wrong Aadhaar number or has entered the account number incorrectly. In such a situation, the government has no option but to stop the installment.

If you have also applied for PM Kisan Yojana, then you must immediately check your documents to avoid any such mistake. If your previous installment has not yet come and you want the sixth and seventh installment to come together, then you will have to rectify the errors in the application/registration form.
It must be noted that verification of Aadhaar card is mandatory to take advantage of this government scheme. There are many farmers whose Aadhar card has not been verified.
