National Highway Authority of India recently launched ‘One Vehicle One Fastag’ program. By doing this, it is expected that toll collection will be better and traffic jam will be reduced. With this, the Government of India has made it mandatory for FASTag users to update KYC. The deadline for this has been fixed as 29th February.

How to update FASTag KYC online?
- If you want to update KYC of FASTag , you can apply online. For this, help can be taken from the official website fastag.ihmcl.com . Here you have to sign in with your registered mobile number.
- After this, look for the menu option on the dashboard and click on My Profile. After this go to KYC option and select Customer Type.
- Now you have to check the declaration box visible on the screen and proceed for the KYC Update process.
- You can also get KYC updated through the website of your partner bank. For this, go to https://www.netc.org.in/request-for-netc-fastag and select your bank. Now follow the instructions shown on the screen.
How to update KYC offline
To get KYC updated without internet, you will have to go to the Fastag issuing bank. For this, PAN card, address proof, ID, passport size photo will be required. You can ask for FASTag KYC form from your bank representative and fill it and submit it along with all the necessary documents.
After this the bank will verify your form and process it. After this, once FASTag KYC is completed, you will get an email and SMS notification.
How to check FASTag KYC status
To check the status of FASTag KYC, you have to go to fastag.ihmcl.com and sign in with the registered mobile number. Now you can see KYC status by going to My Profile. If your number is not registered on the NHAI FASTag website, download the MyFASTag app and complete the registration. After this you can check KYC status.
