What is FASTag?

Fastag is an electronic toll collection system that simplifies the process of toll payment at highway toll plazas. This is a small tag which is placed on the windscreen of your car. Fastag is linked to your bank account or prepaid card. When your FASTag equipped vehicle approaches the toll booth, a sensor reads your FASTag. The toll amount is automatically deducted from your bank account or prepaid card. You do not need to stop at the toll plaza, you can proceed straight ahead.
