February 1 Rule Changes: Today Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget of the country. Many announcements are likely to be made in the Union Budget. In such a situation, these announcements can have a direct impact on your and everyone’s pocket.
But apart from these announcements on the budget day, there have been many changes, which are directly affecting your pocket. This includes different changes like LPG price, CNG price, ATF price, bank interest rate. Know here what changes have happened on 1 February.
Reduction in CNG prices
Good news has come even before the General Budget (Budget 2023). CNG prices got relief in Mumbai and surrounding areas. An official of Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) said that the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been cut by Rs 2.5 per kg for Mumbai and surrounding areas. Accordingly, the revised prices of CNG used in vehicles in Mumbai will now come down from Rs 89.50 per kg to Rs 87 per kg.
PNB gave a shock to the customers
Before the budget (Budget 2023), Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the major public sector banks of the country, has given a big blow to the customers. PNB has increased the Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rate (MCLR) by 10 basis points i.e. 0.10%. The increased rates are applicable from February 1, 2023. The increase in MCLR will directly affect your loan, which will increase your EMI.
Tata Motors increased the prices
If you are going to buy a Tata Motors car, then from today i.e. from February 1, you will have to pay a higher price for it. The company (Tata Motors) has implemented the increase in the price of its passenger vehicles from today. All Tata Motors cars and its models will cost an average of 1.2 per cent more. That is, from the day of the general budget speech, Tata cars – vehicles like Nexon, Punch, Harrier, Tiago, Tigor and Safari have become expensive.
ATF prices increased
From February 1, IOC has increased the prices of ATF. ATF prices have increased by about Rs. Its effect can be seen in the form of relief in the inflation of air travel in the coming times. The new rates have come into effect from February 1. The price of jet fuel in Delhi has been increased to Rs 1,12,356.77 lakh per kilo litre. Prices have gone up to Rs 1,19,239.96 lakh per kiloliter in Kolkata, Rs 1,11,246.61 lakh per kiloliter in Mumbai and Rs 1,16,922.56 lakh per kiloliter in Chennai.
Credit card rules changed
There is a big change for people using credit cards. Today i.e. from February 1, the card holder is not going to get any reward points on the payment of Rent By Credit Card. 1% fee will be charged on payment of rent through credit card. This rule has come into force on the credit card holders of Bank of Baroda (BoB) from 1 February 2023.
Scrap Policy in Noida
