Festival Special Trains: East Central Railway CPRO Saraswati Chandra said that for the convenience of passengers during Diwali and Chhath Mahaparva, about 142 pairs of special trains originating/arriving or passing through East Central Railway jurisdiction are being operated. In this sequence, apart from these special trains, additional 17 pairs and one one-way Puja special train will be operated as follows.
Festival Special Trains: The festival of lights Diwali and the great festival of Surya Upasana, Daala Chhath, are about to come. Both these are such important festivals, when people of UP and Bihar who have gone to different parts of the country to earn their livelihood return to their homes to celebrate these festivals. Therefore, during this time there is a huge crowd in the trains and it becomes difficult to get a confirmed ticket. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, Indian Railways keeps operating special trains on the occasion of these festivals every year. In this sequence, this time also the Railways is operating special trains on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath and has also decided to operate 17 other special trains.

> Train number 04608 Jammu Tawi-Howrah Puja Special Train
Departing from Jammu Tawi on 30.10.2024 and 04.11.2024 at 20.20 hrs, it will reach Howrah on the next day at 13.20 hrs, stopping at various stations. In the return journey, train number 04607 Howrah-Jammutvi Puja Special will depart from Howrah at 23.45 on 01.11.2024 and 06.11.2024 and reach Jammu Tawi at 15.20 the next day, stopping at various stations.
This train will have 07 AC III class, 08 AC III economy class, one AC II and one first class coaches respectively. This train will be operated via Dhanbad-Koderma-Gaya-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction-Lucknow.
> Train number 04680 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Kamakhya Puja Special Train
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will depart from Katra on 28.10.2024 and 02.11.2024 at 18.40 hrs and will reach Kamakhya at 21.00 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations. On return, train number 04679 Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Puja Special will depart from Kamakhya at 06.00 hrs on 31.10.2024 and 05.11.2024 and will reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06.20 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations.
This train will have 13 AC III class, 02 AC III economy class, 02 AC II class and 01 AC I class coaches. This train will be operated via New Jalpaiguri-Barauni Junction-Hajipur (via Shahpur Patori)-Chhapra.
> Train number 04662 Amritsar-Saharsa Puja Special Train
It will depart from Amritsar on 29.10.2024 and 03.11.2024 at 20.10 hrs and will reach Saharsa at 05.00 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations. On return, train number 04661 Saharsa-Amritsar Puja Special will depart from Saharsa at 10.00 hrs on 31.10.2024 and 05.11.2024 and will reach Amritsar at 06.20 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations.
This train will have 04 coaches of sleeper class, 01 of AC third class, 13 coaches of general class. This train will be operated via Hajipur-Muzaffarpur-Chhapra.
> Train number 04520 Ambala-Darbhanga Puja Special Train
It will depart from Ambala on 25.10.2024 at 19.00 hrs and will reach Darbhanga at 19.00 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations. On return, train number 04519 Darbhanga-Amritsar Puja Special will depart from Darbhanga on 26.10.2024 at 21.30 hrs and will reach Amritsar at 06.30 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations.
> Train number 06055 Coimbatore-Barauni Special Train
It will leave Coimbatore every Saturday at 11.50 hrs from 26.10.2024 to 16.11.2024 and reach Barauni on Monday at 14.30 hrs. In return, 06056 Barauni-Coimbatore Special will leave every Tuesday at 23.45 hrs from 29.10.2024 to 19.11.2024 and reach Coimbatore on Friday at 03.45 hrs.
> Train number 09461 Ahmedabad-Danapur Special Train
It will leave Ahmedabad every Saturday at 08.25 hrs from 26.10.2024 to 16.11.2024 and reach Danapur on Sunday at 16.50 hrs. In return, 09462 Danapur-Ahmedabad Special will leave every Sunday at 21.55 hrs from 27.10.2024 to 17.11.2024 and reach Ahmedabad on Tuesday at 07.10 hrs.
> Train number 09011 Udhna-Gaya Special Train
It will leave Udhna at 22.00 hrs on 25.10.2024 and reach Gaya at 07.00 hrs the next day. On return, 09012 Gaya-Vadodara Special will leave at 10.00 hrs on 27.10.2024 and reach Vadodara at 14.00 hrs the next day.
> Train number 09115 Vadodara-Gaya Special Train
It will leave Vadodara at 00.45 hrs on 29.10.2024 and reach Gaya at 07.00 hrs the next day. On return, 09116 Gaya-Vadodara Special will leave at 10.00 hrs on 30.10.2024 and reach Vadodara at 14.00 hrs the next day.
> Train number 09467 Ahmedabad-Jayanagar Special Train
Will leave Ahmedabad at 16.35 hrs on 25.10.2024 and reach Jaynagar at 07.30 hrs the next day. On return, 09468 Jaynagar-Ahmedabad Special will leave at 10.30 hrs on 27.10.2024 and reach Ahmedabad at 01.15 hrs the next day.
> Train number 08793 Durg-Patna Special Train
Will leave Durg at 13.20 hrs on 28.10.2024 and reach Patna at 11.00 hrs the next day. On return, 08794 Patna-Durg Special will leave at 12.30 hrs on 29.10.2024 and reach Durg at 12.20 hrs the next day.
