Let us tell you that GoFirst had earlier canceled its flights for three days from May 3. But by extending this period, the airlines have extended it to 9th May. Airlines canceled their flights when the highest demand for domestic air travel is seen as it is the holiday month.
Before this Go First has got disappointed in NCLT. The NCLT, while hearing his plea, refused to grant interim relief saying that there is no such provision under the IBC. So the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) has asked GoFirst to refund the passengers as soon as possible after the cancellation of flights.
GoFirst has told DGCA that airlines have suspended ticket sales till May 15. In such a situation, it is being speculated whether the flights can be canceled till May 15.
