According to the information received from Prayagraj Airport, 5000 passengers reached Prayagraj by plane on 27 January. Which is a record in itself. At the same time, a total of 30,172 passengers have reached Prayagraj by 226 flights in the last one week. At the same time, DGCA is going to increase the flight seats from 80 thousand to 1.23 lakh flight seats in February.

Akasa and SpiceJet made a plan

In view of the increasing demand for flights for Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Akasa Air is going to start flights from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru to Prayagraj from January 29. At the same time, SpiceJet is going to start flights from Delhi, Chennai, Guwahati, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur and Hyderabad to Prayagraj. At the same time, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has advised DGCA and airlines company to ensure adequate capacity to accommodate passengers.
