Flood havoc in China, killing more than a dozen people and forcing thousands to leave home

Beijing, AP. The whole world suffers from the corona virus epidemic. The virus was first recorded in China and then the whole world is experiencing it. Millions of people have died worldwide. At the same time, now the flood has caused trouble in China. The government said on Wednesday that floods in south and central China had killed more than a dozen people and forced thousands from their homes.

The Emergency Management Ministry said, since June 2, about 228,000 people have had to seek emergency shelter due to the floods. The initial damage was estimated at over $ 500 million, including the destruction of over 1,000 homes. The flooding was particularly more alarming in the southern region of Guangxi, where six were listed as dead and one missing, and seven in the north of Hunan province were recorded as dead and one missing.

Since June 2, some provinces of South China have received heavy rainfall since then. Water in 110 rivers in 8 provinces such as Quangshi, Quangtong, Fuchyen and Chchyang, has crossed the warning level. Which caused the flood.

Weather floods typically cause heavy damage in low-lying areas of China’s major river systems, particularly south of the Yangtze and Pearl. At the same time, authorities in the large-scale Three Gorge structure, particularly on the Yangtze, have sought to reduce hardship through the use of dams.
