According to Forbes, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has retained his position as the richest person in India and the 10th richest person in the world. His net worth is $90.7 billion. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has been ranked second with a net worth of $90 billion and HCL Technologies Chairman Shiv Nadar has been ranked third with a net worth of $28.7 billion in the Forbes list of India’s 10 richest billionaires. According to the Forbes report, Ambani’s net worth has increased by 7 percent compared to the last financial year. Adani, the second richest Indian and Asian, has a net worth of $90 billion. ArcelorMittal’s executive chairman Lakshmi Mittal, who has a net worth of $17.9 billion, is ranked sixth. Savitri Jindal of OP Jindal Group ($17.7 billion) was ranked seventh, helped by a correction in steel prices.

Aditya Birla Group chief Kumar Mangalam Birla ($16.5 billion) was ranked eighth, Sun Pharmaceuticals chief Dilip Shanghvi ($15.6 billion) was ranked ninth and Kotak Mahindra Bank managing director Uday Kotak ($14.3 billion) was ranked tenth.
