People are being threatened to block their mobile numbers in the name of TRAI

Also, to save the mobile number, people are being asked for their personal information. TRAI said that no call or message is ever sent from their side regarding shutting down the mobile number. Only your telecom company can shut down your mobile number

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has clarified that only your telecom company can take action to shut down your mobile number. There can be many reasons for this. These can include billing, KYC or misuse of the number. Customers should know that those who threaten to shut down the mobile in the name of TRAI are frauds. If you get such a call, you can also check it by calling the call center of your telecom service provider.

Give information on Chakshu Suvidha, Cyber ​​Crime Helpline Number or Website
TRAI said that in cases like cyber crime and financial fraud, citizens should report on Chakshu Facility available on the Department of Telecommunication’s Sanchar Sathi platform. Apart from this, information about such suspicious calls should also be given by visiting the cyber crime helpline number 1930 or the official website.
