Antyodaya card holders will get benefit

In fact, the Uttarakhand cabinet on Thursday decided to give three cylinders of LPG free of cost to the Antyodaya card holders in a year. This decision was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet held in Dehradun under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

After the meeting, Chief Secretary SS Sandhu said that 1,84,142 Antyodaya card holders of the state would be benefited by this decision.

He did what he said : 

CM Dhami said that like before, the cabinet has also decided to give a bonus of Rs 20 per quintal to the farmers on the purchase of wheat. After the meeting, the Chief Minister wrote on Twitter, ‘What did you say! Fulfilling the promise made in the vision letter placed before the public before the elections, three gas cylinders will be given free of cost to all the Antyodaya card holders of the state every year.

BJP welcomed the decision of the Dhami cabinet 

The BJP welcomed the decision of the Dhami cabinet to provide free LPG cylinders to the Antyodaya card holders, calling it historic and in line with the concept of welfare government.

BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chouhan expressed the hope that within one and a half months of the formation of the government, this decision taken with a view to benefit the people of the weaker sections will prove to be less difficult in their lives.

Chouhan said that the BJP government is committed to fulfilling every promise made in the election manifesto.

Congress alleges violation of the code of conduct,

However, Congress has said that it will complain to the Election Commission in this regard, calling it a violation of the model code of conduct applicable for the Champawat by-election to be held on 31 May. Chief Minister Dhami is trying his luck in the by-election.
